How can we help?
Answers about joining Talentrys, bookings, payments, Premium and your account.
Getting started
+What is Talentrys?
Talentrys is a marketplace where brands, casting directors, photographers and event organizers discover and book creative talents: models, photographers, stylists, designers, musicians, visual artists and athletes. Talents are grouped into four worlds: Fashion, Visual Art, Music and Sport.
+Which account should I create?
Choose "I'm a Talent" to showcase your work and get booked, "I'm a Client" to find and book talents, or "I'm an Agency" to present your roster. Sign up at /register. Client accounts are free.
+Is there a Talentrys app?
You can install Talentrys on your phone from the browser: on iPhone, open talentrys.com in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen". On Android, tap "Install" when Chrome offers it. It opens full screen like an app.
For talents
+Why isn't my profile visible yet?
Every talent profile is reviewed by the Talentrys team before it goes public. You'll get an answer by email within 5 business days. Until then, only you and the team can see your profile, but you can log in and keep improving it. A profile photo, a short bio, a few skills and at least one portfolio project help us say yes. Note that a profile without a photo never appears in the directory.
+My application wasn't accepted. What can I do?
Strengthen your profile: recent, good-quality photos, a few portfolio projects and a clear bio. Then reply to the decision email to ask for a new review.
+How do I edit my profile and portfolio?
Go to /dashboard and use "Edit profile" for your photo, cover, category, city, bio, skills and availability (models can also add measurements). Add your work in /dashboard/portfolio: free accounts get up to 40 projects with 8 photos each, Premium up to 100 projects with 20 photos each. Videos are supported.
+How do I show my prices?
Add packages with a title and a price from your dashboard. Clients then see a "from" price on your card and can pick a package when they send a booking request.
+How do I apply to castings?
Open castings are listed at /castings. Open one and apply. You're notified when a casting matches your category. Applying is available once your profile has been accepted.
For clients
+How do I find the right talent?
Use Discover (/discover): filter by category, city, country, budget, height for models, verified or Premium profiles, and sort the results. There are also pages by category and city, such as Photographers in Paris. Save talents with the heart to find them later.
+How do I post a casting?
Go to /castings/new (free). Describe your project, category, city, date and budget. Talents in the matching category are notified and apply, and you see the applications on your casting's page.
+What is my client card?
In /dashboard you can add a photo or logo, your world, your role (casting director, photographer, brand…), your company, your city and a short bio. Talents see this card with every message and booking request, and they reply more to clients they can identify.
+Is it free for clients?
Yes. Creating a client account, browsing, posting castings and sending up to 5 booking requests per month is free, with up to 20 favorites. When you book, you pay the talent's price plus a $10 booking fee. Client Premium removes the limits.
Bookings
+How does booking a talent work?
1. On the talent's profile, click "Request a booking", choose a package or describe your project, pick a date and send. Nothing is charged at this step. 2. The talent accepts with a price, or declines. 3. You receive a secure Stripe payment link by email and pay by card: the agreed price plus the $10 booking fee. 4. The booking is confirmed. After the job, the talent marks it completed and you can leave a review. Follow everything in /dashboard/bookings.
+What do the booking statuses mean?
Requested: waiting for the talent's answer. Invoiced: accepted, waiting for the client's payment. Paid: confirmed. Completed: the job is done. Declined: the talent said no.
+How do I accept a booking request?
Open /dashboard/bookings, enter your price and click "Accept & send payment link". The client gets a payment link by email. If the button is greyed out, you first need to choose how you get paid in the "Get paid" section of the same page.
+Something went wrong with a booking
Use "Report a problem" on the booking in /dashboard/bookings (work not delivered, not as agreed, no-show…). The Talentrys team looks into it and gets back to you. Each case is reviewed individually. For anything urgent, write to contact@talentrys.com.
Payments and payouts
+How do I get paid?
Go to /dashboard/bookings, "Get paid" section, and choose: - Stripe: automatic payouts after each payment. Connect your account once (your country must be set on your profile; Stripe isn't available in every country). - PayPal or Wise: enter your PayPal email or Wise details; the Talentrys team sends these payouts after each payment. Without a payout method you can't accept paid bookings.
+How much does Talentrys take?
Talentrys keeps a 20% commission on the agreed price; the talent receives the other 80%. The client also pays a $10 (or €10) booking fee, which doesn't come out of the talent's share. Talents can price in USD or EUR.
+Is paying on Talentrys safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card details are never stored by Talentrys. You only pay once the talent has accepted your request. Booking through Talentrys also keeps you covered by our support and dispute handling.
Messages and safety
+How do I message someone?
Click "Message" on a profile, or open /dashboard/messages. Contact details (phone, email, social handles) can't be shared before a booking is confirmed: everything happens on Talentrys until then, which keeps both sides protected.
+How do I report or block someone?
On the profile, use "Report this profile" or "Block". You can also report a portfolio project from its page. A blocked member can't message you or send you requests. You can unblock people in /dashboard/settings.
+Can we arrange bookings outside Talentrys?
Once a client and a talent have booked each other through Talentrys, they agree to arrange their first 3 bookings together through the platform. Those bookings stay covered by our support, dispute handling and payment protection.
Your account
+I forgot my password
On /login, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email: you'll receive a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. Still stuck? Write to contact@talentrys.com.
+How do I change my email or delete my account?
Go to /dashboard/settings to change your email or password, see the members you've blocked, or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and data.
+How do agencies work on Talentrys?
Create an agency account at /register ("I'm an Agency"). The Talentrys team reviews new agencies before they appear. Once approved, you get a public page in /agencies and build your roster with an invite link or by accepting talent applications. There's no exclusivity.
+How do I contact the Talentrys team?
Write to contact@talentrys.com. We reply as soon as possible.
