Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account: your email, username, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and the profile details you choose to add — display name, category, location, bio, skills, social links, photos and portfolio content.

When someone contacts a talent through a profile: the sender's name, email, optional phone number, and message — this is shared with the talent so they can reply directly.

2. Cookies

We only use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

3. How we use your data

To operate your account and public profile, to let visitors find and contact talents through the directory, and to keep the platform secure (rate limiting, abuse prevention). We don't sell your data.

4. Who we share it with

Your public profile is, by design, visible to anyone who visits Talentrys. We otherwise only share data with the service providers that keep Talentrys running — hosting and email delivery — strictly to provide the service.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Deleting your account from your dashboard settings permanently removes your profile, portfolio and account data.

6. Your rights

You can review and edit your data at any time from your dashboard, and delete your account (and the data tied to it) from Settings. For anything our self-service tools don't cover, contact us at privacy@talentrys.com.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
